Climate & Landscape
Residents of Cambridge and the surrounding area enjoy wonderful year-round living with four distinct seasons. Good growing conditions allow for outstanding gardens and orchards. Frost-free days are typically mid-May to mid-September (with some cooperation from Mother Nature, of course). The elevation is approximately 2650 feet, and annual total precipitation is around 20 inches. Winter temperatures are generally in the teens and twenties, and can drop below zero. Summer temperatures average in the upper eighties and low nineties, occasionally rising over 100 degrees.
